VOLUNTEER CREDIT POLICY

Volunteer Credits Policy

(A way to earn credits towards the cost of community programs and events)

 

 

 

When:               - Starting September 1, 2013

What:               - A system that allows volunteers to earn credits towards the cost of community programs and events

Who:                 - Woodcroft community volunteers

How:                 - Contributing volunteer time and effort to the success of community league operations, programs, functions and events

Conditions:       - Credits earned in one fiscal year (Sept to August) must be used by the end of the following fiscal year or be forfeited.

   - Volunteer hours must be pre-approved and recorded (volunteer time of less than 1 hour will not be eligible)

   - Maximum accumulated credits allowable per fiscal year  - 250 ($500.)

   - Credits are non-transferable

   - Credits cannot be used to pay community league membership fees

 

 

Credit Value  (1 credit is equal to $2.00)

Eligible volunteer hours:

Time attending board and/or committee meetings, and meetings on behalf of the community league  eg. EFCL meetings, City Council meetings, league related training and information sessions

 

Time committed to defined responsibilities eg. Treasurer, Secretary, Web Administrator, League communications, Sign Board updates, Newsletter preparation, Hall Rentals, etc.

 

Time committed to approved adhoc responsibilities  eg.  function planning, coordinating registration for Singers, Book Club, special projects, etc.

 

Time committed to delivery of community programs and events eg. various functions throughout the year, Parents & Tot’s Group, Woodcroft Singers, Woodcroft Book Club

 

Woodcroft Casino
